Preoperative decision making, preferred imaging modalities patient set-up, surgical approach, fracture reduction and fixation techniques, and postoperative rehabilitation are detailed in two operative scapula fracture cases.

The surgical indications are highlighted in each case to demonstrate the rationale for two different posterior approaches: The Extensile and Modified Judet.
