At the Scapula Institute, we considered for the first time that we could be the collective pioneers of the whole frontier of Scapula surgery. It will take a generation of surgeons to do this, and I could not be more proud to be a part of this monumental advancement in patient care. NASCon has been developed to bring together an elite team of surgeons that wants to be part of improving patient care in the area of Scapula correction.
CRITICAL GOALS OF NASCON:
- Discuss conflicting views of scapula treatment philosophy and how these practices relate to the quality of patient care.
- Share member case study presentations as a result of lively discussions of innovative techniques and technical variations.
- Data collection and sharing to best understand how modalities are serving current patients and how to improve upon modalities for future patients.
I am exceptionally pleased with the progress NASCon is making and with the results patients are feeling. As NASCon grows and we are able to spread our learnings for Scapula repair throughout the field, more and more patients will be able to receive proper care for these intricate injuries and be free of pain and limited mobility.
